Welcome to our office. Our building, finished in December 2005, was built by State Construction to be one of the premier, professional buildings in O’Fallon. We are located conveniently in a medical complex between Memorial Hospital’s Family Physicians of O’Fallon Group practice and Dr. Bean’s Lakepointe Dental.

The crown jewel of the office is the optical dispensary. This area is spacious and has a modern, boutique feel. It features custom built glass-shelved cabinetry, coved ceilings, ambiance lighting, and over 300 frames. Upholstered chairs and table-top mirrors provide a relaxed atmosphere for choosing the perfect frame. The dispensing area is quiet and comfortable with a classic high-back chair and custom-built dispensing desk. For a list of our most popular frames, please visit the Products page.

Contact Lens Dispensing

Another unique feature about our office is our contact lens room. This room is very spacious and can accomodate two contact lens wearers at a time. It has a large countertop and glass front cabinetry, which allows staff to easily view stock trials, solutions, and other supplies. In this room, we demonstrate proper contact lens care and teach new wearers how to insert and remove contacts.

The office welcomes you with arched French doors, warm gold walls, dark wood cabinetry, and living room-style seating, giving you the feel of an elegant yet comfortable home. A flat panel LCD television illuminates the main waiting area with a fireplace during the holidays for a cozy feel.

Lakepointe Vision Center offers the latest up-to-date technology, beginning with our digital eye chart. The doctors are able to precisely measure different levels of visual acuity using an endless array of randomized letter combinations. The video feature allows you to relax and enjoy some pleasant scenery and proves particularly useful to keep the attention of young children. We also have an anterior and posterior camera to capture a digital image of your eye. The anterior camera takes pictures of the external structures, including the cornea, iris, conjuctivia, and lens. The posterior camera captures images located internally such as the retina, macula, and optic nerve. The doctors can easily show and explain your ocular condition and easily monitor changes. EyeMaginations, our 3-D interactive educational tool, makes it simple and easy to understand any ocular diagnosis with its concise demonstrations and explanations.

Exam Room with Anterior Digital Imaging

The anterior camera is powerful enough to detect the finest details located on the front structure of the eye including the cornea, conjunctiva, optic nerve head and the macula. The technicians can easily take a photo and show you in high magnification the area of interest.

Lakepointe Vision Center is pleased to announce that we now offer free WiFi access to our patients. If you’re done browsing our frames, maybe you’d like to browse our website, lakepointevisioncenter.com for information about our services, the “Eye Library” about common eye conditions, and our products.

To get you online we do require that you use a wireless security called WPA-PSK. We recommend that you use the firefox web browser, which can be found at getfirefox.com, for faster and safer browsing as well.

To get online with your wireless device, look for available wireless networks in range and choose “Lakepointe Vision Patients”. When you click to join that network you’ll get a prompt for a password, which is “2seebetter” (minus the quotes).
